I saw this on my sister's blog, and of course I had to try it. What is it about internet tests? They're freakishly accurate! LoLz Groundbreaking Thinker (GT)(Just visiting? Take the free test and determine your personality type!)
Groundbreaking Thinkers are charming, enthusiastic persons. They really bubble over with energy and like to take centre stage. They love variety both professionally and privately. Groundbreaking Thinkers tackle changes consistently with their optimism and firm belief in their own abilities; they are always on the look-out for improvement possibilities. Their excellent communication skills are of great advantage to them here. They approach the world with curiosity and openness and master new situations with a great deal of talent for improvising and with resourcefulness. Their spare time is taken up with a large number of hobbies; most Groundbreaking Thinkers like to travel in order to gather as many different impressions as possible. This personality type is unbeatable at discovering new possibilities. In their work, Groundbreaking Thinkers highly rate challenges and diversified tasks. They cannot stand routine and too detailed work. They love to astound others with bold ideas for an original, new project and then leave it up to the others to implement them. Hierarchies, rules and regulations arouse their opposition and they love outsmarting the system. It is vital to them that they enjoy their work; if this is the case, they quickly become pure workaholics. Their creativity best takes effect when they work independently; but they are very good at motivating others and infecting them with their optimistic nature. Conceptual or advisory activities appeal especially to Groundbreaking Thinkers. It can happen that some people feel somewhat duped by their flexible, spontaneous nature. Their sociability and enterprise ensure that Groundbreaking Thinkers always have a large circle of friends and acquaintances in which activity plays an important role. As they are mostly in a good mood, they are popular and very welcome guests. Grumbling and peevishness are unknown to them. However, they do tend to be a little erratic and unstable when it comes to obligations and this makes them appear to be unreliable to some. Groundbreaking Thinkers are very critical and demanding when it comes to picking a partner because they look for the ideal relationship and have a very concrete picture of this ideal relationship. Mutual aims in life are very important to them. They do not like compromising and would rather remain alone. For the partner, it is often a challenge to have a long-term relationship with a Groundbreaking Thinker. Groundbreaking Thinkers need a lot of space and diversity or otherwise they become bored and feel cramped. Types who are rather more traditionalistic often have problems with the willingness of Groundbreaking Thinkers to take risks and their often crazy, spontaneous actions. However, if one can summon up sufficient flexibility and tolerance for them, one will never be bored in their presence and will always have a loyal and faithful partner. It started when I was taking the mickey out of the Arnean dude-pare-man-bro-chong-tol boys, but the word has wormed its way into my everyday vocab, and now, duuude... I've been using the word "dude" way too much these days.
LoL. I heart Pearls before Swine.
Happy-emo animation. I heart. ^___^
Blurb: Delicious comedy packed with high calorie evil. The Imp is a light hearted look at trying to square a career spreading evil, coupled with the mundane demands of domestic life. Import.flv (2.7 MB)
I first saw you when I was looking for the haka on youtube... You led the New Zealand All Blacks in the traditional war dance against South Africa (sorry Leo T) to "kick off" a game your team would win. I had a hard time picking my jaw off the floor. You were... spectacular.
Women's beauty is best displayed in rest. Men are at their best... in motion. Maybe it's the military brat in me, but I think rugby and martial arts are the pinnacles of masculine "beauty." The sheer strength and brutality of these activities are so... wow. Add to that the rhythm and grace (yes, grace!) of the haka... <Fans self>
Thank you, Lord, for Tana Umaga. Lolz.
Yun lang. I miss watching rugby. ^____^

This was the first movie for the 2008 Film Festival in Edsa Shangri-La. So... yeah, of course there was a whole launch event beforehand, with HOURS of politicking. No joke. Show was supposed to start at 7:30, started around 9... Sigh. So anyway, I missed the last southbound train. Sigh again... At least I got a great seat. The perks of catching a film solo. ^___^
Okay. The movie. Official blurb: "While on a job in Nantes one evening, Émilie encounters Gabriel. Although they're both attracted to each other, they each already have someone in their life. What's more, they know that they will probably never see each other again. Even so, he'd like to kiss her. She'd also like to kiss him. But something prevents them from doing so: a story of a married woman and her best friend overcome by the effects of a kiss. A kiss that should have been of no consequence."
Anyway it gets complicated because the story-girl here is married. And her husband loves her, as in BIG LOVE, and he only has eyes for her (yes, doesn't the bimbo know how rare that is!?!?!) To cut the long story short, the best friends end up together, the husband goes to Italy a broken man. But it's a happy ending, because that man is now the storyteller's husband. And yes, Émilie and Gabriel do kiss at the end, but still, it's a bittersweet parting.
*Haaaaay nakupow* {slaps palm on forehead}
Which is why I stand by saving all one's kisses for one's spouse! It just makes life less complicated and more exciting at the same time. First kiss at the altar, y'all!!! LoL.
So.. reaction paper time. I usually HATE movies/books/stories/anything that revolve around infidelity. But this movie had surprisingly good morals. Not perfect, nor perfectly embodied by the characters, but the audience walks away with an important truth: that although it takes effort to stay faithful to your spouse, it's worth it. And the damage that results from such trysts are serious. It didn't trivialize or romanticize extra-marital moonlighting, wasn't at all preachy but still got the point across. And the most important part: IT ENTERTAINED.
And although the context of adultery makes me go "Ewww", I have to admit I'm a sucker for stories of two best friends who wake up one morning and realize they've fallen for each other, or even better, grow in love with each other. *Kilig!*
For a French film, it had surprisingly little dodgyness in it (Yes, I've been told MANY times that I'm a prude and I'm OKAY with that, plus two teen boys were sitting next to me --> protective ate mode --> extra prudishness). And this is a romantic comedy (another rarity for all-too-often-angsty French cinema) so lotsa scenes that were so awkward they were funny. Add to that the fun of spotting discrepancies between the subtitles and the spoken dialogue, it all made for a VERY FUN MOVIE!
Unfortunately, this film has only one screening for this film fest, so if you want to see it yourself, you'll have to buy/rent/torrent it. LoL
I'm planning to spend 2-3 whole days in Shang over the next 2 weekends to catch EVERY SINGLE movie on this list : http://tinyurl.com/3z6dxc
Except maybe "La Mome" the Edith Piaf movie, because I have that already. During the week, i might even catch the earliest shows for some of them (those that will end before 5)... Anyone want to come with?!?! Text/message me lang. Je suis francophile!!! Regardez ces filmes avec moi! Nous aurons beaucoup de rires! (Je pense que j'ai fait beaucoup d'erreurs... LoL)

I like my man like I like my coffee... A bit froggy. I have such a soft spot for geeks/nerds. Especially the cute ones. (Yes, you know you are. Bwahahahah!!!)
I heart Imogen Heap so much.
Goodnight and Go - Imogen Heap
Skipping beats, blushing cheeks I am struggling Daydreaming, bed scenes in the corner café And then i'm left in bits recovering tectonic tremblings You get me every time
Why d'ya have to be so cute? It's impossible to ignore you Must you make me laugh so much It's bad enough we get along so well Say goodnight and go
Follow you home, you've got your headphones on and you're dancing Got lucky, beautiful shot you taking everything off watch the curtains wide open Then you fall in the same routine flicking through the TV relaxed and reclining And you think you're alone...
Why d'ya have to be so cute? It's impossible to ignore you Must you make me laugh so much It's bad enough we get along so well Say goodnight and go
One of these days, you'll miss your train and come stay with me We'll have drinks and talk about things, any excuse to stay awake with you You'll sleep here, i'll sleep there, but then the heating may be down again at my convenience we'd be good, we'd be great together.
Say goodnight and go, why's it always always goodnight and go Darling not again Goodnight and go
